hey all well my week has been full of rigging rigging rigging all for my FYP next year but my skills are getting stronger and stronger with every attempt at rigging i male, as usual i can't give you any images of the rig yet until i get the go ahead from my mentor (as soon as its organized who i have, i hope its Chris Wyatt) but i will give you a little peek of the old characters that wont be used now, these characters where the first 2 versions of my final character for my animation but as they aint being used now i'll let you guys see them.
These where all done in 100% XSI nothing else as i've been asked if it was done in ZBrush, nope all XSI 6.5
So this was my first EVER so dont laugh, i really like the head but the body really needs work.
and this was my 2nd attempt at modeling, i feel that this one is MILES better then the last, its just more defined and it has better topology then the 1st try.
so ye thats be 1st and 2nd attempt at modeling a character and i think i've improved between them both of them. what do you think?
so what else have i got to talk about well not much really, as i said my week has been taken over by rigging but its better then as i said its just im having many many issues with my arm setup, im trying to do a IK/FK Switch arm setup and its so hard to do when you have never done it before but i will get there eventually i hope.
i did do one rig a couple of weeks ago just to practice rigging on basic object, i've decided to make it public to you guys as i thought that it might be of some use to someone out there that need to know how to rig a broom or mop or just needs a mop rig for an animation, its been made in XSI 6.5 so it will work in 6.5 and later versions of XSI.
If there are any problems let me know and if you like it give me a message, and feel free to use it for anythin just please i request that you credit me when you do.
