well as i said a while back my friends a Arcus Studios contacted me and asked if i would help them out with some coloring for there competition for Virgin Media Shorts......and to be honest im happy to help out although i'm still struggling to use ToonBoom for coloring but i have been trying to get the same coloring style as them so it all matches.
i decided to test this out i would do a small animation about a sheep......not sure why a sheep or what exactly is going to happen but for now this is the scene i have, and maybe if i ask them tomorrow how to go about animating in ToonBoom they might be able to give a couple of pointers.
I think i have done a quite close job to match what they do....although this was done in PhotoShop CS4 not ToonBoom so i don't know how i will get coloring like this in ToonBoom but i'm sure if i ask they will put me in the right direction.
Anyway, this is all i really have to say tonight but i will update you tomorrow with what i have found out and done and also i might have some animation to show you if i get some tips from them.
so talk to you all soon guys.

How do you do the colouring like that? Could you do a step-by-step on how you got that effect or link us to a tutorial you used?
Cheers!
i guess i could do a small tutorial if you are interested.....it only took me about 4-5 hours to make sure it matched the the look of Arcus Studios.
Its all about how you use the brushes in PhotoShop and how you layer the drawings......i'll see what i can for a tutorial and get back to you.
is there anything specific your wanting to learn???
