Its a great place for people to meet and greet the people that we all soon one day hope to be either working with or for.
The first 2 days of the festival are focused on the Gaming Companies that what they are working on currently and give tips on how to get work or great better work.
On the Monday night there is a Gamers Lounge that you can go and talk to all the speakers and show them work and hopefully catch there eye and get a contact that stick with you for life.
On Wednesday there is the workshops where the speakers from the week go through what they are gods at and will show you how to also do it, some of them are all day sessions and some are half day, im heading to the Ed Hooks full day session tomorrow as i have before, even though i've done it before it helps me out every year and i wouldn't ever turn down doing it over again.
Then on Thursday and Friday its focused on Animation and we have speakers from ILM, Pixar, Dreamworks, Double Negative and many many others.
On Thursday night we have the Animex Party for the animators to meet and greet, its like the Players Lounge but for the animators so we all get a shot at making some really big contacts and getting some fantastic feedback.

Yesterday would have been much better if i wasn't feeling so drained from the night before or the night before that but today was much better, except i ended up sleeping through the first load of lectures and missed another 2 but that was because i was at the Ed Hooks class that my lecturer set up for the CCA class.
I learnt a lot from it, he game some really great advice as always ^_^ im really looking forward to his class tomorrow and i'll hopefully get him to look over my script for FYP and get some advice off him on it.
