i know that this isn't a sunday and that this is a News post which i only really do on Sundays but i just had to blog this before Sunday.

Well today we had a guest lecture from Niel Bushnell who i must say is an AWESOME guy and for those of you that don't know who he is, he is the managing director of Qurios Entertainment which is an Animation, Visual Effects and Architectural Visualization company based in Hartlepool (my home town YEY) in the North East of England.

His lecture was great and it was so cool to see all the work that Qurios has done, due to me talking to one of his animators Cairán Wright, when i mentioned that i had been talking to him Niel instantly knew who i was and said "Oh are you Monkey Boy" and at that point i was so star struck, i mean these are the guys that i wanted to work with after i first heard of them, i tried my best to make sure that i get a showreel perfect enough that they would one day take me on as one of there animators, and seeing there stuff again has only pushed me further into wanting that.

After the lecture Niel and my lecturer Chris Williams went for some lunch, i really wanted to sit with them but i guess i choked and i just couldn't bring myself to do it, i mean this guy is the man i want to work for he is somewhat of a celebrity to me. But looking back now i really wish i had bit the bullet and sat down, if he's at Animex at all this year i'll try and ask him if he fancies going for a pint or something. (i hope he says yes lol)

Can't wait till Animex now (couldn't wait already but now its like OMG) going be so cool network with these guys.

Also Niel showed us all the animated ident that Qurios did for Animex this year, it was very different to the past years but still very cool.

Oh ye and maybe some of the coolest news today was that, as well as knowing me before i even introduced myself was that he had looked at my blog prier to the lecture this just made me so unbelievably amazed that a guy in the industry had looked at my little blog *HUDGE SMILE*, so if your reading this at all Niel thanks again i know i've said it a lot now and i dont want to come off as a crazy stalker but just knowing that Qurios is there is something great and amazing to aspire to.
