I have put this animation on the 11SecondClub Forum and i am awaiting feedback and critiques but what i have now i would say is the best i have done and maybe the best i can do.
all in all i probably spent 20 to 23 hours of tweaking to get it to what it is now, i would just like to give a BIG thanks you dbag333 on the 11SecondClub Forum for all his help and his examples, a big thanks to Jason Ryan for his ball bounce tutorial, a big thanks to my Dad for helping out with a fresh eye on the animation when needed and a big thanks to all the people at Animation Mentor Students for uploading there work to the net as it helped to look through what you had all done and put it into my animation.
so without anymore delay here is my new and hopefully final render of my ball bounce in XSI.
hope you enjoy and please feel free to leave any feedback you want or any critiques.

Your animation is definitely improving. Compared to my old ball animation in 06 its amazing: http://internal-game.blogspot.com/2006/03/hey-its-another-update-could-this-be.html
With that said you should have "Tail'r" (the ball with the tale, at least that is what we called him) have more then just a continual jump, cause once you got it you just loop it and your done. Suggestion try a 11sec Scrat like got to get that acorn with Tail'r. Focus on the ball movement then add the overlapping tail for added emotion and effect.
Just a challenge. Keep up the good work. I'll be overseas for a few month so I would be able to see what your up to as often and give my two-bits but I will when I can. Keep on posting your work to get feed back. The more C&C you get and you apply to your work the better you'll become.
Cheers,
